cool, calm, and connected

This group is designed for early elementary school kids to build essential social and emotional skills in a supportive and fun environment. This group will meet on the third Saturday of each month from January to June 2026. Each session will be 60 minutes long and will focus on a key theme through interactive lessons, play-based activities, and guided discussions.

Children will learn how to ask for help, take turns, and engage in meaningful conversations, while also practicing strategies for emotional regulation, such as calming techniques, mindfulness, and positive self-talk. Children will explore their feelings, build confidence, and celebrate their uniqueness.

This group also promotes perspective-taking and friendship building, which helps children to understand how their actions affect others, make amends, and strengthen social bonds. Each session builds upon the last, and the group will culminate with celebration of growth, empathy, and teamwork.
